i'm BACK!! shall do short recounts of what we did in East Timor.

reached the airport at probably 7.45am? joshua, sabrina and cheryl was there already. then followed by jk, then deeben, then pet & nat, then jeanette & nun, then finally auntie lili and cleff. checked in and realised that our seats were super separated. haiz.. upon arrival in East timor, we all got our luggages and baggages and hopped on to any of the buses where there were still space and set off to the hotel. our team gathered and headed to the bungalow we were supposed to live in. we rested for only half an hr before we had to go down to this lobby place for dinner. then proceeded to this ktv lounge where we use as a hall for intercession. then we were dismissed. then we got to bathe first before we had a debrief for the day.

during these days, we went to quite a number of places. on the 7th, had a corporate worhip session at this Jesus Statue. then we also had several outreach programmes. 1st one was at Mate Lahotu. it was the worst of all since we didnt pray for God's favour beforehand and everything we did didnt manage to keep the children's attention. the next day, 8th, we had 2 hrs to keep the students occupied in the morn as the teachers' grp planned a session for the teachers at the kindergarten in bebonuk. my team, consisting of reuben, thea, nat, nun, josh, jonah and kashken, took the class where the age grp was 7-8 yrs old. there, we played pass the ball. wanting them to say their names when the music stops and the ball lands on someone's hands. but it wasnt effective but at least, they enjoyed it. another game was the blanket game. tho they didnt really shout out the other party's name, they enjoyed pointing their fingers when the blanket goes down. we also taught them action songs and did the chicken dance which they soo liked. haha.. continued with outreach 2 that afternoon with puppetry and all that. this time round, it was much more successful cause we kept in prayer. =) the next day was the most impacting i believe. we had an outreach 3 at the same grounds. it was supposed to be a christmas musical. we had prayer walk once again before we started. went out to invite pple. then started soon. but halfway, it started to rain! we tried praying in our hearts but still, it didnt cease. half the kids already ran back to the sheltered places. only a handful was with us singing and dancing in the rain. finally, we had to shift all of them into a small room. just nice, we were about to start the mime. so it's like the small rm had only 1 way in no way out. haha.. the kids had no where to run. so it's probably God's hand working. He knows that's the way to keep the children's attention. the act of singing in the rain was also a testimony to the adults there. there were 6 salvations and an innumerable for the kids. WHOAH isnt it? on the 10th, we had distribution in the morn at mate lahotu. then in the afternoon, had a sharing session with the pastors and missionaries at Icereja Manancial Church. after that, went frm hse to hse to distribute oil, salt and sugar. on the 11th, we had sunday service at the church. then also went to this clinic hse. after that, we went back to hotel. there, we started this asshole daidee-bridge-daidee obsession. then went to this handicraft centre with nothing to buy actually. and then we climbed the Jesus Statue. this time, sang all the way with isabel to the top. rather tiring. haha..then climbed the statue. soo difficult lar..because of that, i bruised my knee a lil. haha.. and deeben and cleff soo damn tall. they dont find it difficult one lar. haiz. well, jeanette did a last min worship there. then we took grp photos and went down. sang with isabel again.

today was more of playing. in the morn, we went to Liquica. visited 2 schools there. first school, we had to wait for them to complete their paper as they were having national exams at that time. then we talked with some of them. made friends with Aida, Ali and Alda* (shld be spelt correctly). they were nice pple. haha.. yep. then went to this run down church which was used as a shelter for pple and many were shot there by dont-know-who. 4 yrs ago. haiz. then another school but didnt connect with the students as they were having exams. then we left and went back. chatted in the room with nat, isabel, jeanette and thea. auntie lili was there too. ooh..the previous nite, auntie lili came into our room dead in the nite to check on us, but we were still talking, ending up that she joined us too. lol. well, back on track. finally, we stopped disturbing jeanette and thea who wanted to sleep. went out to play cards. asshole daidee. haha..then in the afternoon, we drove to the beach. we went to the other side. but the water bed was quite yucky. lots of seaweeds. lol.. then isabel, nat, jeanette, thea and i were like making sandballs. but the guys threw back at use just grabbing any sand from the waterbed. eww. then we lingered on before going back. bathed and we went for dinner before heading to this ice cream parlour. ordered Berry Madness. it's not bad. heex. we were all treated by the common fund. that nite, didnt play cards, but i packed my bag. and slept. soo dog gone tired can.

the last day. gathered with the other churches who came back and had a sharing session. nat felt unwell halfway. then we had lunch across the road. the fd was rather good. just that i didnt have the luck to take the spaghetti. haha..but i coped a few strands from sheng. well well, we all then played cards again back at the hotel lobby as there was time still. yep. then loaded the luggages onto the bus and went to the airport. we were 1st. heex. soo we checked in and all that. no seating. soo wonderful. haha.. so we waited at this air conditioned area. and yes. obviously, we played asshole daidee. was asshole for like 4-5 times altogether for that day? lol. ya..then we saw wave 2 arrive. Pastor Benny Ho also came. hahaha.. yar..soon, we boarded the plane. at first, we were not sitting to as planned. but after that, we managed to sit all in 3 rows. played until was quite sian. so i slept. but didnt really tho, just consider it closing my eyes. cause they were noisy. haha.. reached sg at 8.30pm like that. yep. then went home le. fell asleep listening to my mp3. woke up and brushed my teeth and slept.
woke up at 10.30am this morn lar. haha.. that's it. it was a superb trip. =)
