alritee. today's post is gonna be about yesterday's happennings.
i had choir in the morn. i did impromptu warmup. haha.. i did recall last nite that i was to do but i forgot after a few minutes. then when i reached the mrt yesterday then i remembered again. haha. im such a forgetful freak rite? lol. did a short one as instructed by liying. they needed time to teach songs. well, we learned Weep, Oh Mine Eyes. not exactly WE learn. but the lower sec had to learn it. yep. that song, i sang it when i was sec 1. haha.. yar. then also did All My Trials. these are the songs to be sung for Dunman High when they come. =) after that, had a short break to eat some food before we started the Sec 1 orientation. had sectional games first. for Sops, we played charade. soo fun can! haha.. my grp completed all 11 of them. we didnt have time for the 2nd game, name-mania. haiz.. too bad, soo sad. the other sections returned to music room and we all headed to the Tennis Court for mass game. 1st game was fun but rather lame.
pole-dancing; find a partner and one be the pole while the other dance.
coconut tree; find 2 people and do those bollywood dances.
mahjong; get into grps of 4 and pretend t sit and play mahjong.
red indians; 5 pple in a grp, stand in circle and make those sounds lar.
let's eat!; 6 pple come together and sing the Mac Fan-tastic song.
can-can dance; 7 pple form a circle and dance the can-can dance.
Note: while doing all these, have to introduce yourself the others. yep.
next we had diamond captain's ball. well, this game was wad i played in sec 1. shall not elaborate. haha.. dianfeng was a good person. hehheh. he helped us cheat!! haha... =)) after the games, we were dismissed. went to jec with some choir members to eat. shared curry with yifan and jingni. yep. then went home le.
after i got home, i went to bathe immediately and packed my stuff after that. soon after, i left the hse again. reached church slightly after 5pm and saw most of them there already. yar. helped to make more vines. prayed, packed and we left for The Third Place. took uncle Tommy's car with joshua, lydia and auntie lili. whoah. the place damn cool. yar. before us, there was a grp of youths jamming there. Holy is the Lord. i like that song. =D then we set up the place. lydia and i helped to make the vines. then we helped to put up. but i had to do registration soon as pple had started coming. haha.. mandy actually beat marwin. she brgouht 9 friends while marwin had 8. haha..
soo the whole thing started. started off with games. quite unsuccessful lar actually, for the 1st one. lol. but i believe it got better? yar. then muchtime! and then when everyone has seated, the performances started. kelvin and grace was first up. then it was reuben and co.'s guitar and percussian performances respectively. next was Chingyao's turn. his voice is good. but i dont really like his falsetto. doesnt seem very welldone to me leh. or maybe it's a technique. i dont know. after all the wonderful performances, we had pastor up on stage for a small and simple msg. 7 pple raised their hands in response. great! haha.. then we had a lil bit of advertisement time for Rays Events. then finally, the Rays DIP! lol, thea's friend and Ben's friend won the 3rd and 2nd prize respectively. soo coincidental, they were both at the couches area. haha.. then yanxuan's friend won the 1st prize! haha.. the programme ended with the same percussion performance again. yeah.
we cleaned up the place while the friends started leaving. yep. then after that, we had debrief. then i left. and u know what? outside church, in terence's car, i realised i left the converse plastic bag of extra doorgifts over there. when i got home, i msged auntie lili and thankfully, they happened to see it and helped me take. Praise the Lord!! the event was soo successful!! =)) hoping to see new faces on sunday and next fri's Rays Rendezvous!
