IM BACK !! =Dchurch camp this year has been extremely good!! =) my room mate was lydia tan and we lived in room TWO-ONE-NINE. her dad with ben and sheng lives beside us. haha. while jeanette and lydia lee stayed opposite us with reuben, joel chan and anto beside them. hehheh.
1st day;we were curious of the place as usual and went about lar. figured out the others' rooms and poor nun, xuan and ernst. they're the only ones living on the fifth level, surrounded by my sis and grace wong. lol. well well, at 5pm, there was the setting of the pace first before we went for dinner. dinner was quite good lar. the meals were actually not too bad over there. OH- we had a surprise for thea. it was her 19th birthday!! :D they switched off the lights and brought in the cake. haha.. then we sang for her. nat baked the brownie. haha.. then we all shared the brownie and went for the night sermon session. after the service, we all headed back to our rooms. watched this movie on channel u for a while before i bathed. after that, went to jeanette's room for a while. stayed on till 11.30, the time limit for us. then lydia and i went back to our room to sleep.
2nd day;woke up at 6.30am to do devotion. yar. then went down for breakfast at 7.15am. the food were okay lar. then while jeanette went for intercession, lydia-s and i went to wake the midgets up. deanna was the one still sleeping. the others have woken up le. yar. then went down for the morning service. after that, there was a workshop session. youths had our own conducted by thea. the 1st workshop was on sanctification. yep. then after that was lunch. followed by a free afternoon. after lunch, the worship team pple gathered to prepare a special surprise for auntie roslyn. haha.. sang a special birthday song for her lor. and had lots of sharing. yar. then after that, we had raydio band practise. did The Time Has Come and Revolution. yep. =) then went up to rest. bathed and some of the girls came over to play daidee. then went down and had dinner. then went for worship prac before the night service. came back and dont know why..slept at 12 that day. oh..lydia was studying music with jeanette. lol.
3rd day;jeanette almost couldnt wake up today. and she didnt want to go down for breakfast. so only me and the two lydias went. yeah. then lydiatan went for worship prac while lydia lee and i roamed about. went up to look for jeanette and came down together. as usual, after the morning service, left for our own youth workshop. we touched on solitude today. thea asked us to find our own corners and bury our heads in our jackets or shirts. lol. funny things went thru different pple's minds. like sheng for example, was thinking of automobiles. lol. then we shared and went for lunch. after that, we discussed on our item for the closing banquet. yep. then it was time for us to get going for cellathon!! TEAMO SUPREMO consists of jeanette(again..hahah), lydialee, mandy, anto, xyz, joelchan(again..) and terence. and whoah. it was fun. only thing that wasnt was that for the last few stations, i was running around with a broken slipper. haha. my beloved gold slippers were spoilt as i tripped a lil while climbing the stairs lar. urgh. i want another pair of slipper/sandals!! and heyhey. TEAMO SUPREMO WON!!! we clocked in first!! =) haha.. after that, i went up to bathe. but there was no towel. called the housekeeping and it took soo long lar. mandy also didnt have. haha.. the towels arrived and i bathed lor. then went down for dinner at around 6? yar. or is it 6.30?? i dont know. that evening, we gave xuan his birthday surprise. yar. haha..then after that, went for night service lor. mandy left that night for training next day. lol. that night was a noisy nite. some youths gathered at my rm for the discussion of script. then it turned out that they all came over to eat. lol.. dirtied the room and all that lar. and lol.. we placed a pao on jeanette's bed too!! lol.
4th day;for goodness-knows-what reason, lydia and i woke up at the usual of 6.30am even tho we didnt have anything on actually. urgh. and jeannette didnt wanna go down for breakfast. so went down with 2 lydias again. then we went for intercession. yar. then came in slightly late for the morn service. yep. workshop that day was on LD-lectio divina. did a mass one together. yar. then went for lunch. slacked back at the rooms for a while before josh called me down coz my sis wanted to go thru some sunday songs with us. yar. then had raydio band prac. sang slow songs that day. Came to My Rescue and The Stand. i love The Stand!! =) haha. it's a nice song. yar. then we got ready for the cell outing. we went to danga bay. thought we could go on some rides in the themepark but it wasnt open till 7pm. so we shopped at the streetmall there. it's quite nice lar. the shoes there not bad actually. lol.. oh..we took a seriously long time at this dvd shop. ( pirated lar. ) i bought 2. Series of Unfortunate Events and The Sixth Sense. =) we bought all together so they will be cheaper. hehheh. then we all ate at Secret Recipe. urgh. terence was so undecided. at first, he warned us against eating too much coz we want to take rides later. then so we ordered the cakes. after ordering, he came and tell us to have proper meals coz we wouldnt go to the themepark le. wad the?? nvm, lydia and i then shared a lasagne. then we went back to the hotel. jeanette bought a pair of yellow banana shoes. which is quite nice actually. haha.. yar. walked with shirley. yar. then back at the hotel, we sat down to share and then they practised the skit. it was quite unorganised but well, they still managed to practise it after all.
then we all gathered at jeanette's room to watch Silent Hill. =) yay!!!! but at 11pm, grace suddenly asked us down. she told us a piece of shocking news. yar. quite sad. haiz. then we all went up and finally could watch Silent Hill. it's a thriller lar. not bad. but quite confusing. the whole movie is rather baffling to me. yeah. i was like blowing my nose constantly. haha.. the movie ended only at 1.20am. we helped to clear up the room and retired to our rooms to sleep.
5th day;woke up late!!! i disregarded the alarm at 6.28 but i didnt hear the 6.30 one later one. i didnt hear lydia's one either!! only when jeanette rang the doorbell then the both of us woke up. she told us it was 7.50!!! oh gosh. lydia has worship practise at 7.45am lar. lol. she hurried up changed and went down. i changed and packed my stuff into my luggage. yar. then i visited lydia lee and jeanette. they were eating prata in the room. with yoghurt. lol. i tried. it was okay lar. they spared me one piece and then we went down for service. sat in the banquet tables while listening to the sermon. lol. then we had a break time to get our luggage and check out. yar. then it was the closing banquet. the items were all very funny. yar. haha.. ours was quite soft i guess. not all could catch the indian accent or so it seemed. lol. then they gave out the prizes for the Cellathon race!! indeed, TEAMO SUPREMO GOT FIRST!. =) haha.. got rambutans for 1st prize. haha.. ate while listening to testimonies. then had communion before the end of the whole camp. auntie peggy then drove us home.
that's how fun the camp was. =) and lydia lee is damn freaky and funny. haha..
