NEW RAYS TEE and all ready to serve God this day.
Raydio are to lead worship, while the rest of Rays are in charge of ushering and greeting. =)
my whole family woke up late on the special day. i didnt hear my alarm at 6am. my mum too! she woke up herself at 6.45am and came to wake shermin and i up. together, we all rushed to get ready for the day. luckily, we werent late. haha.. yar. had a final practice before the first service. whoah. my, was the music good and the worship atmosphere was soo great. =) after that, we went upstairs to the foyer for evaluation and breakfast. haha.. pple commented that singers went
out of tune in
Majesty and
Awesome God. soo we sang thru the acapella part and seeked uncle Roger's expertise. lol. there was nothing very wrong leh. weird. hmmm..
after that, we went down to get ready for 2nd service worship. it was also as good as the first one. hehheh. wahh..tried to harmonise louder this time round. but it's like..my parts are to harmonise the low while jj does the high ones. soo low is like kind of difficult. esp for Awesome God. it's seriously low lar. haha.. yar. then we stayed this time for the message brought by grace tan!!!
*applause* she did a great job. she was soo funny lar. haha... then there was altar call for the youths to make a
"bomb blast" for God. yep. then finally, we took several group shots and after lingering around a bit more, as well as waiting for mum's chinese service to end, i went off to find mummy for lunch.
we ate at the
bak kut teh stall near owen centre with shermin's grandma and mummy's friend. yar. then daddy sent mummy and i to harbourfront to take 188 home. after that, rest for a while before the both of us went to the salon. i cut my hair. just trimmed and thinned. hehheh. yep. then after that, i came back, changed and left for sembawang to meet some of the youths.
from there, nun came and brought us to the place for jj's bday party.
he's 21!! yep. soo just stood around, ate and then we had games. played
wacko first. i was Kangaroo! haha.. then next game was
pass the parcel. wah..shalyn definitely needs training in throwing accurately lar. in the interval time, she wanted to throw her slippers at jj but they were unsuccessful. sitting beside him,
i kena-ed lar. haiz... then we started the game. whoever gets the
'parcel' has to affirm jj. yar. after that, it was our skit and small presentation for him.
The Insults of JJ. haha.. yar. it was quite nice lar. then for the finale, we sang
Awesome JJ song. haha.. twisted lyrics from Awesome God. haha.. =) then it was time for the cutting of the cake!! the cake's pretty.
it's a letter J. yep. pple gave testimonials of JJ and we all ate the cake. yup. then comes the funny part. we all gathered to sing the Awesome JJ song again. for what? to attract his attention to come to us soo we may
push him into the pool!! haha.. but it was unsuccessful. lucky Jeriel and JC came from the function room and pushed chased after him. then all the guys went to carry him and push him into the water. but hoho- he pulled anto in with him lar. haha... damn funny. then lot's of funny stuff happened too like they both fell in again coz they want to push each other into the water. lol. then jj even wanted to push his mum into the water too!! haha..
after that, pple started leaving. left together with all the rest coz auntie lili helped to pack up. and we shared cab with her. yep. soo tired that i couldnt blog last nite. later, i'll be having
Big Yellow Taxi outing!! =)
