today's the
last day of remedials in LTs. hehheh. finally. the long-awaited-for day has arrived. =) well, i think the lessons were actually quite helpful and successfully conducted. for me, that is. it's probably the teachers. we had
lame clifton soh for physics,
mdm ong hwee hien for chem and
mr ang mia lee for maths. haha.. doing binomial theorem with him is fun. haha..
well, there's this one thing that quite angered the few of us tho. mr tong asked us to bring our maths file today for some checking or something. in the end, after our lessons ended, as in for us ss/lit students, we tried looking for him, but to no avail. then bingyang called him up and he said it's okay. we dont have to show him already. ... does he actually have any idea how much more weight was added to my shoulders due to the maths file. it's so damn bulky and thick. sighs.
anyway, after school, eileen, yining and i waited for mich to come out. their class dragged for 1/2 an hour lar. lol. so the four of us went to take a cab down to
NJC 'cause we few bus idiots didnt know how to go there from school. i forget where we're supposed to change bus so yes. when we reached, we were nonetheless glad there were pple to guide us to the canteen. haha.. ate their pasta and it wasnt very nice. we didnt know there were other stalls at the other end of the canteen. if now, i'd probably have bought sushi like what mich did.
after eating, we went for the talk by
Dr Jane Goodall. she has been studying chimpanzees since young. it was considered interesting lar. she told stories of a few chimpanzees she knew. i remember there's one called
satan. haha.. cute name huh. well, some parts were boring. didnt really manage to catch what she said bout the organisation
Roots and Shoots though. i suppose it's an organisation that provides the opportunity to study the wild? anyway, after she's said her piece, it was the interaction time again. several pple posed interesting and constructive questions. feel soo inferior that i cant even manage to think up a good question to ask. haha.. i always cant. haha..
after the interaction ended, we were allowed to leave. didnt enjoy the reception they prepared for us. yep. im now watching
Windstruck. been wanting to find this show for ages. hehheh. =)
oh yes. i was thinking of surprising my parents, my sis and terence on sunday by going to the airport to fetch them. but urgh. i just figured that they will take a cab back home and a cab cant fit 5 persons.
there goes my plan. haiz..
