MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!! after such a wait, this day has finally arrived! =)
i had wanted to blog this sentence at around 1plus. but i didnt in the end. will explain that later. heh.
i had agapeland keyboard duty yesterday.
HAHA. it's rather screwed up. as in, 'cause uncle george arrived late from the toddlers' side and so, he cut short the worship. he didnt tell us which songs not to play but at least, he did say what song we were singing before starting every new song. besides that, uncle george doesnt give signals to start and stop and since he's playing the guitar, JK and i always let him start strumming first before our keyboard and drums tries to follow. haha.. damn funny. we also dont know when he stops. lol. but still, it wasnt that badly screwed up lar. haha..by the time we got down to the sanctuary, the musical was already on. but i didnt miss much lar. it was
good, tho not as funny but they sure had good dances. heh.
after service, when all has finished being
santa clauses, i left with natalie for 7-11 to get a few bottles of drinks and chips. LOL. she kept complaining of her hurting feet due to her heels. lol. but she made it after all to owen centre on
foot. haha.. then there, we had our farewell party for
ANTO. he's leaving for the US to study. sighs. we'll definitely miss his gay-ness. haha.. well, there were
tears and laughter during this party.
tears-because the fact he's leaving is very sad;
laughter-his cockroach encounter and cake+whipped cream fight. then after that, i followed terence back to the church to wait for my mum's chinese service to be over.
when the service was over, my parents and i went to my uncle's house for the
xmas dinner gathering. as usual, she cooked lots of food. my mum bought roasted duck over. heh. we watched
Qi Tian Da Sheng while eating. the show's damn funny lar. haha.. there was
fahrenheit on that episode. heh. then at 8pm, we left. my parents then fetched me to yeun see's house to put down my stuff. after i was done, jody, yeunsee and i left the house for orchard. =))
omg. orchard was seriously
packed. when we first reached the place, we tried to follow the crowd. we were walking along the path outside of wisma and gosh, it was soo crowded. everyone's pushing okay. then everyone is like squeezing through pple. the 3 of us had to hold our hands very tightly and at the same time, guard our belongings. there was a man who kept poking yeunsee with his phone to push her forward. at those times, we didnt have to walk at all, pple just have to push us and the force moves us forward as well. lol. at a point, we reached a standstill. nobody could move at all and yet, the pple behind was pushing so violently. urgh.
inconsiderate singaporeans. well, we got up the stairs to wisma and saw that we were at a point whereby the pple from both directions just meet. lol. no wonder there was no movement. but hey, it was much less crowded on top now. then we decided to head to paragon's direction. it was less packed but nonetheless, it was still very hard to walk. we went into paragon and went to
starbucks. it was hard to get a table. first we found a
table but no chairs. then we found a
table with only 2 chairs. finally, this malay family left and we took a chair over. heh. i bought
raspberry frappucino blended tea. =) (urgh, i cant upload the photo of it.)
after we were done with our food and drinks, we went up and the guard said we had to leave since the mall is closing. we made a shot for the toilet but it
stank like shit and so we left without using it. we dashed across the road to the hotel but they didnt allow us in. urgh. then we saw that pple were starting to spray the
foam thing all over pple. initially, we were rather afraid to walk past them but we tried our luck to walk past them, in the hope that we wont get
'attacked'. heh. but we couldnt escape of course. we walked to heerens for toilet and
chionged from there to outside paragon. we made it just in time to hear
Joyful Joyful and then the
countdown. then after a while more, we made our way to somerset station. some ambiguous malay guy walked past us and said," oh it's you rite?" then he sprayed the foam on me. damn. urgh.
there was so much foam and litter on the ground. the foam made my throat very dry. sighs. look at these pictures.
Before we left, we took quite a few photos. heh.
On the mrt home, it was rather empty. heh..coz everyone's staying out way much later after the countdown to xmas. heh.
i shall end today's entry here. im too tired to continue. heh. wait for part 2 tmr!
