maggie's question reminded me about that story i posted 2 weeks ago. i promised to give the answer last week but well, so many things took place that i forgot! oops. anyway, here goes:
the young man actually switched the old man's signboard. he changed it to this: Today is a beautiful day. I can't see it. have you realised the wonders of how a positive statement coming from the old begger changes the way how people look at him? well, indeed, we tend to feel more pity as we know that the old beggar is blind but he's very positive. do you feel the same way?
okay. anyway, this week hasn't been much of a special week. oh probably this piece of news can be considered something that brightened the week. on monday, we learnt from mr chen that he's joining
cosine75* as a co-form!! heh. =) pdp was fun with him around. interesting session we had. haha..
hmm..choir ran together on tuesday morning. it was a good run. haha.. on wednesday, we had a thorough pe session. after running for 3 rounds, we followed mrs yeow. guess what we did? we did like 4 times of shuttle run. then we had to do standing broad jump through the width of the track. after which, we were made to jump from line to line and hop from line to line.
URGH. everyone arrived in school with muscle aches the next day, including me.
BOO.
led worship for cell on friday again as thea was sick. yep. then just yesterday, i couldnt do my library cip as we had to go back to school for sectionals. the grp session was quite bad. but we will jiayou de! yea! after sectionals yest, we performed in our octets for one another lar. in the afternoon i went
shopping with my mummy!
Things i bought:
1) a pale yellow 3-quart sleeved shirt
2) checkered short sleeved shirt
3) brown suspenders
4) a white+bronze clutch/handbag. dont know the right term for it. heh.
5) hair clips + scrungies and rubber bands
went from
far east to novena to westmall. heh.
novena square two is damn nice to shop. but all my stuff were from far east lar. came home and ate the bah kut teh bought from downstairs for dinner. after that, i tried on my outfits for mummy to comment. haha..
didnt go to church today because of the
piano competition. urgh. i screwed up badly!!! normally i only make small mistakes but today, i suddenly played a note wrongly and couldnt continue properly.
AHH!! but all the better if i dont get in. i can concentrate on my grade 8 exam pieces. =) just finished my tons of homework. no time to study for physics lar. tonite must catch the
finals of Superstar! heh.
