the last week of school was rather eventful i suppose? on monday, we had
cross country; at the
ex Turf City. man, the place was scorching hot by the time we reached there. people had to take out the umbrellas to block the sun. at first, we all thought the lower sec students were a bit on the childish side but well, we all did it as well. haha.. waited and waited and waited before we the race started. first, at 3.30pm, there was the C division competitive runners. then at each 15 minutes interval, another group. B div non-competitive runners ran at 4.15pm. i ran together with yishi and masu. however, masu lagged behind at a certain point so yishi and i ran ahead first. sigh. we came in in like almost half and hour for a 4.5km run. if we had been a wee bit faster, we could have tried to clock in a timing of 25 minutes that could help our house. LOL.
after everyone has finished the race, we went on for our cheering competition. it was very saddening to see the
gryphon spirit soo dead. why? i dont understand. is it the leaders who are incompetent in raising the atmosphere in us or is it the sec 4s this year who dont behave as enthusiastically as past year seniors? i dont know. but whatever it is, we got
SECOND and not
CHAMPION this year. we also only got a
SECOND for the mascot. well, i guess, next year, we'd better come back to help out! haha.. ive gotten over all the disappointment and anger. yea...
tuesday, when i went to school, i saw my classmates carrying back their books to our original classroom.
our air-con was finally fixed. =D it's been about 3 weeks plus okay! so now, we are in our new sitting arrangements and im sitting with jeromy. haiz. lol. ooo..the air-con now is like so
damn cold. haha..
the rest of the days had been okay. ooo..yes. on thursday, DL continued with the eng lesson even tho more than half the class left early for the movie. it was pretty intimidating to have such a lesson with so few pple. haha.. she inquired bout our family background, asking whether we speak english or chinese or whatever at home. then she also asked why we think we did badly for english. yea.
friday, stefan gave us each a packet of biscuit sticks. DAMN. guess what, i left it together with one TIME magazine under my desk.
i forgot to bring them home!!!! AHHHH..it's cleared by the school already, all the stuff, that's what i heard. urgh.
my holiday is quite packed. okay lar. maybe
NOT that packed. at least i have the whole of mon and fri free. =) today, im gonna complete some pieces of homework. =) oh. i got to know this cool website,
crunchyroll.com. it's even better than youtube. better in some ways. it's easier to find dramas here. so now, im watching
Heaven's Wedding Gown on it. =))
