good friday is the day that jesus was crucified. on this day, RAYs had our own
TGIF party held at farrer park civil cervice club.
on that day, i reached the place at about 1pm. helped around abit here and there and then we prayed before the event started. pple then started streaming in with their friends. =) after that, we started the programme. first, thea & sheng started the programme. sheng kept cracking lame jokes that he had searched for on the internet. they were soo COLD we had to laugh at them to make sure they are laughable. then the band performed the 3 fast song medley. heh. it went well after the time we spent practising on thurs nite. =D after that, it was games session. lydia and nat led us into a game of Murderer which was rather hard to play coz instructions werent really very clear. haha.. basically, it was to break the ice. heh. then the 2nd game was ChopChilliChop. it was too chim for many to understand. so we took a long time before the game truly started. haha.. the forfeits were all sorts of dances: chicken dance, butt dance, banana dance and blah.
well, after the games, we had the skit directed by jeanette. poor her, she was down with a fever that day but she still turned up. the skit was funny. 'dude, im adam. OhAdam~' haha..that was damn funny. after that, it was FOOD time. there were too much food actually. but well..more is better than less rite. yea. then as pple were eating, the band went upstage to perform the 3 song items every 5 minute interval. yea. all went well!! Thank God! heh. then we had another game. we were split into groups and then given a bowl per group. each bowl contained 14 raw eggs and 1 hardboiled egg. we had to find that one hardboiled egg but we must break every egg we touch. so my hands were all covered with raw egg after the game. anto's group won! (oooh~ i forgot to mention that anto was back from the states for this easter weekend!) after this, grace shared the word and called for altar call. then the party ended. i brought one whole tray of beehoon back lar. sighs. nvm.

today is
easter sunday. the day when Jesus who died, rose again. YAY~
i had to reach church early in the morning at 7.15am. we had intercession before we started the worship practice. on sat, we had our last rehearsal for the 'musical'. yea. the worship was good lar except that the condenser mics were abit of a problem. after the worship, we headed to the sides of the stage and sat there waiting for our turn to perform as a choir. finally, we sang the songs and yea~ we did well too! =) the run for the 2nd service was also good. heh.

after the services, i stayed for the
water baptism service.
isabel, deanna and michael were getting baptised. yep. congratulations pple!! =) after that, johanun, jk and i went to kk to grab a quick lunch. terence and josh came along too. after eating, we headed back to church for the chi service. we were on duty. yea. came home after the service. that's it.
