i just finished watching the SPD Charity Show. i should say, i was surprised by the sudden surge of emotions as i watched.

well, though i've caught almost every charity show, there's never a time that my heart truly poured out to them. all the time, i'd just went," aiyah, so poor things." i don't think i felt much about them at all. however, it's different today and i dont know the reason either. it's like, as they showed the stories of those disabled people, i just felt like crying. perhaps i felt soo blessed, soo blessed that i'm born a normal kid. i dont know. a reason that possibly stirred my emotions was also that pastor mentioned something in his sermon today.

1 and a half years ago, a huge group of us, along with other churches set off to East Timor for the Fever'05 mission trip. whoah, that was an unforgettable experience for me. during that time, we held a party in Mate Lahotu, one of the villages we visited. while the party went on, there was a boy who has a deep cut and infection on his thigh. it was a really really bad wound. so, pastor and the leaders prayed for him then. this july, a team just came back from east timor bringing several good news to us. pastor also went with other pastors from other churches. he told us today, when he was at Mate Lahotu, the villagers-the teens, adults, children and all were so happy to see him. they told him an exceptionally good news, a miracle in fact. the boy they prayed for has been healed.the wound was now a scar and that boy, now 8 yrs old, is able to run, jump, walk about. PRAISE THE LORD! =)

i think God has His plans for everyone of us, whether we are healthy or not, whether we believe in Him or not. He'll have a way to lead those who have not yet to know Him as their savior. i firmly believe in that. watching those pple inborn with disabilities, i strongly entrust them in the Lord. =)

just some random thoughts that i just had to post online. heh. oh yes, i heard that East Timor mission trip for youths has been postponed to the end of nov. and this means one thing- I CAN GO!! =)))) im looking forward to it. heh.
