this week was probably less hectic since it was Explorer's and Connector's week for RV. basically, the yr threes always go for their adventure camp during this period. ( it's so unfair, they get to enjoy 5 days 4 nights of OBS. what about us? a 3-day 2-night adventure camp at changi.) anyway, while the other levels had cultural camps and other activities preplanned for them, we, the poor sec fours had to carry on with normal lessons on mon, tues and thurs. wed and fri were the only days we got to enjoy.

let's talk about the days we had normal lessons. well, shirui and i had to go for the bio SPA retake on tuesday afternoon. after which, we headed to conduct on designed physics experiment even though we were really reluctant to do them. thursday lessons were quite okay. heh.. =)

here's the excitement. on wednesday, we had no lessons. instead, we spent the whole day attending career talks and educational talks. in the morning, ms ek a speech, then somebody from IDP came to tell us more about education in australia. ( im tempted man. but my mum apparently thinks otherwise. )

after that, we listened to the keynote speaker. he's damn funny can.

then we split into our respective groups to attend what we had chosen. i picked tourism and medical. so for the 1st session, i attended a talk by this travel consultant+rotarian, Mr Jimmy Ooi. he made the tourism industry to be a very exciting and fun-filled job. imagine being able to fly to all sorts of countries and see people from different walks of life! after our break, i went to attend the medical talk by ms Rebecca LIM? i cant recall her surname. yea. anyway, she's going to start school in the medicine faculty at NUS next month. so she told us about the course of medicine, the criteria and the application process. then she shared with us her own interview process and all that. yep, she was interesting, but im not interested in studying medicine, it's such a costly course! haha.

then finally, the most waited for talk of the day, my our very own Ms Singapore Universe 2007, Jessica Tan. whoah! right? heh. but to speak the truth, she is not really very eloquent in delivering a talk. besides, we're all kind of puzzled as to the connection between being an ambassador of Singapore to careers. lol. and, she simply giggles too much, at her own jokes. but well, an MSU is afterall and MSU, she will not lose her charm just because of these small faults. after the talk ended, pple streamed after her to look at her, talk to her, get her autograph. haha.

just yesterday, we had a games day. there were 6 stations and each class will have a representative team to play for all the 6 stations. my team which consisted of yishuen, masu, jingmin, huimin and myself, went to play Wheel of D'fortune. you would never believe how uninteresting it was. at least, for me and masu because we played the Wheel of fortune game while the other 3 got to play different types of games like, game of life, scrabble, taboo! and uno stacko. more fun right? sighs. but our class actually won that station. haha.. after that, all sec fours returned to the LT for a mass game of charades. our clue was the longest but yet, because of its extremely long title, pple who knew the song know it instantly. but it was fun lar.

after that, we had to stay back for chem for a while to go through the chem spa practice task. after that, masu, jingmin, huimin, jolin, wenqin, yishi, yining, jeromy, kenyan, derek, kokleong, ziyi, chunyin, jinhwee, and i went to vivocity to watch Harry potter.. masu's laughter was very prominent in the theatres. lol. then jolin came out crying because she was enlightened by the importance of friendship and kinship. haha..
