i seriously have no urge to blog these days. i think it's ever since i stopped the daily-blogging thing last year and went to a weekly-blogging basis. haha..it's a good thing anyway rite?
we started our lectures-only week on friday. it shall carry on till the end of this friday. then we'll know our classes and start having proper school with lectures+tutorials. im feeling kind of anxious to know who's gonna be my future classmates. and with the nearing of that is also the nearing of the release of results. as you all reading my post would know, there've been several rumours as to when the O'level results would be released.
some say it's 28th, some 25th and an rv teacher told my friend that it's coming out on the 22nd. that's rather fast isnt it? again, the inside of my is fighting this invisible mental war. i want to just know it quickly but yet, im afraid of getting it back. however, i will keep praying and trusting God in whatever His will for me is.
as for yesterday, i went shopping with my mummy! not actually very exciting tho. we went to
queensway first as i wanted to go buy a pair of school shoes. since i have this $10 converse voucher, i wanted to use it on a pair of shoes from there but there werent like any nice ones. so in the end, we went to look at the other sports brands. finally settled in for a pair from adidas. it's white with some parts that are
aqua blue. =) was choosing between that pair and a nike one which has a
gold tick(their icon of globalisation). yea..
after buying the shoes, the both of us just walked around in the hope for finding some tops to complete my cny shopping. instead, we walked into this shop selling baby+toddler clothings and bought a hat for adele. haha..whereever we go, we always come back with something for her! but afterwards, we went into one shop to browse through the clothes they had. tried some and many more that were introduced by the sales-lady. she dresses real hot and so taiwanese can. haha.. the other sales-lady around wasnt that extreme, more mild. yea. managed to buy one top and a peach vest from that shop. i love that vest. =)
then my mum wanted to go to her friend's boutique all the way at
Roxy Square at kallang that area. so we took a train down and another bus ride before reaching the place. so while my mum was fitting the whole array of clothes her friend suggested to her, i sat in the store, watching that small-screen tv that was showing some ch 8 old drama serials. LOL. ate laksa at Roxy Square before going back home.
went to westmall for a while to take a look at the shoes but well, there weren't any
navy blue (preferably patent leather) pumps! sigh. bought subway home for shermin and that ends the day.
church today was rather good. sermon was on setting
financial margins which is rather applicable even to us youths i think. since, we are after all students and dont earn our keep so it's better we know how to use our money wisely. and well, since my allowance has increased(tho it's still rather miserable) i should tithe more. yep. oh yes, i just got my atm card. but it doesnt bare my name. aiya..i regret letting my dad decide to take the card on the spot. nevermind then.
alrite, after blogging, ive gotta bathe charlotte, watch 1 or two epi of heroes before going round to read my notes. hehheh.
