i had a really exciting weekend! =))
yesterday, i went for
choir in the morning. mrs tay showed us some videos taken with a scope. they're videos of the movements in the larynx when you sing. so both negative and positive demonstrations were given and it was simply amazing how those two vocal flaps work. now, im super scared im singing in the wrong way coz we also saw how singing wrongly can harm those two vocal flaps. then we just rehearsed the songs. yea.
then we were supposed to have
section lunch outing together. at first, it seemed like the idea was kinda pointless since quite a number of j2 seniors couldnt go. however, in the end, they still went. heh. went to the foodcourt at holland v to eat. yep.
in the evening, i went with my mum to lot 1. however lot 1 is like ultra tiny and the shops there are really limited. so we went up to causeway point instead. wanted to look for another dress or top that's more colourful/bright but couldnt find any. bought my
blue pumps finally! yay! then we went home after that..

this morning, followed my parents' car as they fetched my sis to church. she led worship today. yea. then we went to the market to have our breakfast. after eating, my parents went back to church to attend first service while i went to meet up with some of them youths at
kk macs to study. or rather, i would say i went to do my homework lar. yar.. i realised i cannot really rmb differentiation..haha.. but i believe my memory shall soon be refreshed.
then we went for 2nd service at 10.30am. today's sermon was on having professional margin. everyone brought a symbol of their work to consecrate it. haha..
nat, isabel, joel lee, ben and i all surrendered our calculators. heh. =D the sermon was really good. the testimonies were absolutely fantastic.
after service, jeanette and i were like trying to sell tickets. haha..i sold my fun-o-rama and she her NOL tickets. lol.. im going for NOL with church pple. =) anyway, then after that we had the basic personal discipling before going for lunch at kk foodcourt. went back at 2.30? to start the prac for cny party songs. First Day is not easy to sing. at least the music is there already. we need to brush up on the vocal arrangements. yea.
at 4.35pm, the few of us who were going to catch the 5pm show with the others were like trying to flag a cab. in the end, we managed to get into one at 4.55pm? lol.. the 5 of us,
reuben, jj, jk, xuan and i managed to squeeze into a cab. reached
The Cathay at 5.05pm i think? then we met the others and went in asap. we watched
Shattered. although others seem to say it's like not nice and everything but well, it's quite good i guess. the plot's got a very unexpected twist at the very end. and the entire show just loves to keep you in suspense. haha.. after the movie, we all went home separately. yea.
oh man..gotta go complete somemore homework later on..
