just yesterday, i was busy thinking of the songs for worship on friday. there were too many songs to choose and i had to make sure the songs after the different prayer points were suitable. it was quite a challenge actually.

then today comes the most stressing day of all. alrite, my parents went to malaysia so i asked them to kindly help me look for the badge refills in some of the toysrus outlets in KL if possible. today's the day they reached KL from genting and so i was hoping that they would call me to tell me if they've managed to find it. last nite, my mum actually asked me how many i would need to buy. at that time, i told her to get only 10-15 boxes if possible but rite now, we kinda need 20 boxes! then i learnt that my mum's autoroaming system was not activated by starhub lar! this is what's causing me to be super peeved about. so im practically jumping on hot coals, feeling extremely jittery and uptight. coz my mum didnt call me today bout her findings at all la.. okay, even if i didnt ask her to call again maybe, she should just call to at least let me know. it's not just me knowing, im to let my teacher know asap too. ahhh!

then i did my extended devotion just now. i read half of Luke 11. this is the part where it mentioned: "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Luke 11:9

i knew rightaway that this was definitely God speaking to me. i think ive once again committed things into my own hands. He's reminding me to just surrender and lay my worries and fear before Him. just one word from me, one request, He will have an answer for us. it's all a matter of time sometimes. again, im still feeling a little impatient but im still asking God for His plan to work out the way He wants, and not to what i want.

i feel much more at rest even though i really didnt hear from my mum at all. and if she's bought, she prob only managed to get at most 15? oh well.. i must really just commit it to God.
