we had a 'surprise' birthday lunch for isabel on sunday at US's pizza hut. why the inverter comma? because our good friend josh let the cat out of the bag! urgh. and that wasnt the only secret he leaked but i shall be nice and not disclose it openly.
anyway, on saturday, i came home from choir and discovered that the modem wasnt functioning. it cant switch on even though the cable was plugged in. this happened after my parents shifted the comp and everything into my room. yea..so i was like somehow deprived. haha. and gosh, i was desperate for the internet, not to play, but because i wanted to research on a new person for my PI and i thought the draft needs to be submitted on monday. so in the end, on sunday, i went over to my sis's hse to use her notebook. then i came home at 9 plus to do the draft.
but oh well, i guess the modem broke down very timely. well, i have a bio ca1 and gp package test today and i think if the internet was alive and kicking on monday and tuesday, i would probably be distracted to use the comp. then miraculously, the modem revived yesterday! how weird it is. haha..
oh yea, i forgot to mention this impt piece of good news! pingxin's gave birth to Lui Hui En on 14th April 2008, 5.04am! =D she's my 2nd niece! WHEE~ haha.. but i didnt get the chance to visit her at the hosp. only saw the girl for the 1st time when i reached home yesterday. heh.
