i had a really tiring weekend. saturday, as usual, i had
choir-full day. we ended earlier though, at 4plus. so i came home, bathed and wanted to start on my
PI research. oh i have to mention this. from thurs, i've been cracking my brains to think of who's journey i could feature in my PI. then on saturday, while in choir, i had the idea of doing the journey of the
people of East Timor. heh..
anyway, i didnt really got down to the researching as my mum said she wants to go to IMM for dinner. i struggled in making the choice. in the end, i went with my parents but said i would go home by myself first while they go shop for certain stuff. however, we had a hard time finding a place to eat. every restaurant had super long queues! we wanted to eat at Baystreet but had a hard time finding it and by the time we found it, we discovered there was a long queue there as well! haha. in the end, we just settled for the foodcourt. by then, it was already 7plus.
God was faithful to us that nite. first, we got a carpark lot very quickly and next, we found a table in the crowded fdcourt very quickly too. =) then my mum managed to get her presents real quick and so i ended up following their car home. haha..
came home and researched like mad. was unsure as to whether i should choose what i thought of in the morning or pick
Xanana Gusmao, East Timor's ex-pres, current PM. in the end, after seeking the opinion of dear friend, yeunsee, i picked Gusmao. discussed with her what i should do for my plan coz she told me that an exhibition is not preferable. should be something hands-on. so there i was, at a total loss of what to plan. then an absurd idea came to mind:
paintball! haha.. and then i had another obstacle: how to put it to good use in the wider community? by then, it was 11plus in the nite and my eyes were really blur from staring at the comp for so long. they almost popped out! haha.. so i decided to continue to do it the next morn when i go study with nat.

on sunday, i attended the 1st service and then i went over to the
Macs at KK hosp to study with nat. did about 75% of my proposal there. gosh, that time i had no info about the paintball fields in singapore la and so i just crapped through certain parts first. haha.. then the two of us went back to church again when the 2nd service ended. nat had to go for keyboard lesson while i headed with the youths to novena square. because of alyssa, my cell lunch could only start at 1.45pm. haha. so deeben and i waited in BK while the rest ate there.
finally, 1.45pm came and my cell had lunch at KFC. it was a great time of fellowship indeed! haha..i think we(the girls esp) got to know each other better. after we're all done with eating, the guys left first while i went with the girls to visit joy's mother's boutique at square 2. heh. then i went with clarissa to take the bus back to kkhosp coz i was meeting nat and lydia there to study
AGAIN. heh. oh before that, we saw shalyn and her friend, James. finally talked to him. apparently, shalyn and james had some prob deciding where to go. they wanted to come with us but in the end, they went off by themselves again. aiyo.
anyway, studied till about 5.40pm and we headed for
United Square to meet the others for
deeben's goodbye dinner. haha..he's going NS tmr. yar..ben came to find us before that. at United Square we saw reuben first. then all of us went to Popular for a while. haha.. then when we reached swensons we saw that most of them are already there. oh well. i ate
Mac' & Cheese! =) first time trying it. haha.. it was the last to come la. tsktsk. after eating, we had dessert. we six girls shared one pan of apple crumble which was seriously more than enough for us so we cancelled the other icecream that we ordered. while waiting, i was doing one sudoku puzzle from ben's book. it took me so long! ahhh..
before we all went home, we went to a rather quiet corner and prayed for deeben first. yep. then joshua, lydialee, reuben, xuan and i went to take the mrt home. reached home at 9.30pm, as i predicted. heh. i hurried to bathe and quickly went to rush out my PI. i thought i could complete it within an hour or so. but hey, by the time i finished, it was around 11.40pm and then i realised that i overshot the word limit. so i spent lots of time cutting it down..till it was
12.15am! ahh.. finally, i finished it! whee~ there was such a sense of accomplishment can.

im so thankful i heard my alarm today. haha.. however, i was still feeling super tired in school. sigh.. just shows how i cant stay up late. haha..
