the peace of God.
today was quite an eventful day. well, i think i should instead start with the end of yesterday.
well, yesterday, the lists of candidates for choir comm 08 was out and up on the noticeboard. i was pretty shocked to see my names up for the 2 positions i was running for-Alto SL and Secretary. well anyways, there was a briefing for all candidates at 4.45pm. thank goodness tania's sms told us to check the notice carefully and so i went to look at it a 2nd time. that's when i saw the timing for the briefing. haha. if not, i guess i would have just overlooked it and gone home! in order not to waste time by myself, i went to join the class for their chinese lesson. gosh, the relief chi teacher is super hilarious to the max. HE IS SO LAME, i tell you. haha. then after the lesson, had the briefing from mr sum. he basically just told us to prepare a speech for today's election. (YES, that's why today was eventful.)
alright then, let me continue with today's happenings yea. well, from yesterday, j1s had to start singing for morning assemblies. i belong to ensemble A which sung yest; ensemble B sung today. so tmr's my turn again. yep.
a first event is that we had a mock bio spa for skill D. urgh, i just hope i can get 1 main source of error correct. haha. yea and for the rest of that bio period we just did a revision on cell division. geog was funny as usual. eunice's friend dropped her camera so her film was exposed. good thing we were in the LT before mr lynn and so we switched off the lights so she can do something bout her camera. then mr lynn came and was so puzzled by the reason we gave him. but 'cause the friend was taking quite a long time and my lynn had to start the lesson so she did it in the darkness of the bag. yep. oh, today, the technologies in LT3 somehow weren't responding quite well again. haha.
the other lessons were pretty much normal. then comes PCCG. ms azlina asked us to share how our past 7 months had been for us so far. so we went one round. and gosh, yonglit was super noisy today. he just couldn't stop talking and hello, what he says are totally OFF-TRACK. haha. yea so we all spent lots of time hearing his non-sense and laughing at what he says. haha..
after school, we had to attend our leadership elective modules. i picked the Conflict and Anger Management this time round. it was well, pretty boring at the start. but the end was a little more interesting coz we had live case studies to look at. haha..
erm, after this, it was Choir Comm Election. gosh, i was like trembling while giving my speech. i hope it wasnt obvious. but anyway, well done everyone who were candidates! and CONGRATS TO THE NEW COMM! CONGRATS TO RACHEL, our new beloved ALTO SL!
yes, i didnt get any positions after all. oh well, i wasnt expecting that much, just letting things go as it is. i've already told myself that whatever the outcome it may be, i will trust that it's just part of God's plan for me. perhaps right now, He wants me to focus alot more on my sec2 kids since they do need alot alot of help to keep them on God's track all the time. plus, i have to serve in worship ministry as well. so i think maybe God just don't want me to overload myself with too much. ACJC choir is a very very fun and exciting CCA but it is also one that can drain you if you're not strong enough. so i think God just wants me to really be focused in serving in church more instead of trying to juggle so many things with my two small hands.
i have my fellow alto mates coming to me and patting me on the shoulder. but im really fine. haha.. i know i have a totally expressionless face sometimes. or to put in another way, my expressions cant let pple know whether im truly like what i look, smiley and all, or am i sad and disappointed. i wouldnt say im not but i guess the peace of God that's resting in me surpasses that amount of disappointment im feeling. when i heard my name not called for the new comm, i think i just felt more relieved then sad. i truly felt happy for those who got their new appointments and sincerely wish them all the best as they form the core team to serve the choir. as a member, i will do my best to help and yea, speak up more. haha.
alritee.. i think my diarrheoa is kinda gone but maybe coz im sitting down? i dont know but i went to shit after choir and then when i came home, i LS-ed twice. sigh, i will just take the charcoal pills no matter what afterwards. yep.
