olympics!
Thursday, August 14, 2008 9:58 PM

this week is just my most relaxed and slack week. there's not really any real tests, nor is there a need to rush anything since the WR has just been entered for turnitin. i hope it goes fine. oh yea, and my newly submitted EOM too.

well, the interesting thing this week was all the olympics games! i love the Olympics season man. it's just so interesting to watch and try to support your fellow Singaporean who's doing their best, though mostly still unable to match up to world standards yet. TaoLi was a miracle and let's hope the table tennis teams and players will be able to win something in their games. =) right now, it seems like they are our last hope for any medal of some sort.

another update is that i chose to do Hydrology instead of Urbanisation for Geog. it was such a tough choice. it was like interest VS difficulty level. however, after much much consideration and consulting pple(tho jeanette & josh both rather take urban. haha..), i decided to do hydro. i figured that i'm already taking H1 geog, which is actually not as content heavy as when i was doing H2 geog. Since i have a choice, why kill myself by studying something that i don't really have an interest for? i would just not have fun learning it and what's more, study for exams. i'm quite a person who prefers to pursue something out of interest as i believe the skills can be harnessed but it's not as easy to cultivate an interest. besides, hydrology was really a factor that prob got me my As for O's! haha.. actually, for human geog, i only like the topic on Population and maybe tourism.. maybe. haha..

oh wells, in the end, turns out that for our cohort, more of us chose Hydrology. hence, the teachers had to switch the venues around. we get to use the LTs while the urban pple will take the Geog Room instead. haha.. how nice. one thing that i'm not looking forward to though, is going for Mrs Meow's tutorial. i'd rather have Mr Lynn, serious! haha..

nvm.. anyway, i'll be going for CF tmr as they've got this christian contemporary band coming in tmr called The Carpenters.. something .. haha.. after that, shall head off for cell directly then. yep.
