my blog's resurrection.
whoah, i think the last i blogged was about 3 weeks ago? or a little less than that perhaps.
well, anyway, before that, i've gotta announce that PROMOS ARE OVER!! hahaha.. the written papers actually ended last friday. Math marked the end and boy, it was such a depressing paper to end with for me. i didnt perform to standard and felt super down after the paper. because there goes my hope of getting in for top 10%. sigh. however, sunday's sermon preached by pastor was really apt. the title was 'when you dreams don't come true'. even though i always say i will leave it to God to decide what's best but the actual doing it is not easy. esp if you realised you didnt do really well. but that sunday, i decided to just recommit to God once again and trust that He has His plans ready and it's prob not my share to be part of that 10%. yep. hence, i felt better after that. haha.
after monday's bio SPA, i went with 13 classmates to vivocity to catch 'Painted Skin'. i wondered how we ended up being cajoled into watching that instead of 'Mama Mia'. haha by the way, i still wish to watch that as well as 'Connected'. =D we had our late lunch at Marche. tsktsk..burned a hole in my pocket. oh well, some few of us played the all-time-fav childhood game 'Pepsi-cola 123'(is that how you spell it?) before we headed to the theatres. well, the movie was pretty alright but i guess i would have enjoyed the other 2 better? i teared at some rather touching moments and yes, jiahui managed to scream at certain spots making this not-a-horror-film-at-all become full of laughter from us.
yesterday's chem SPA which was also a joke because the exact same thing we did for our SPA rev came out. it was how predictable. since when was a chem SPA not similar or identical to the SPA rev we always have? haha.. after that, went to holland v to have ipoh hor fun with jeann, xinrui, jiahui and yiming. it rained and jiahui actually wanted some of us who can, to accompany her before she goes for her cheerleading at 6pm. it was around 4 that time? yea, so in the end, we had a good idea. jiahui and i went with yiming to JE lib to meet eunice. ym and eu were already planning to meet anyway. yep.. so while we were there, we searched for books regarding scrapbooking and cardmaking. they all looked super pretty! haha..then i left with jiahui.
oh i didnt mention. saw several people i know while i was at JE. first, while crossing the road, i saw jiawei, my pri school friend. when i was waiting to cross i was already suspecting but didnt dare to like shout or anything. only when we saw each other on the road then did we greet each other. haha. second, i saw MAGGIE. waved for some time before she saw me. haha.. eh..actually that's about it. haha..
today was AC OPENHOUSE. busy busy busy. in the morn, the BGz stayed in the void deck to deco the souvenir postcards. after that, we headed to the viewing gallery for choir rehearsal for our songs. following that, we had lunch and finally, the openhouse started.
sigh, we could only stay in the cold viewing gallery for the whole 5 hours of the openhouse! and we're only limited to the toilets! haha.. yea, so we performed each time there were visitors, together with string/guitar ensemb and harp ensemb. each time, we chose from our 3 choices, Mamayog, Plenty Good Room and a last min change, El Hambo. we sang the latter 2 more times as mamayog was really not very well done. so out of 12 times, we kind of sang it only twice or thrice? haha.. Plenty Good Room was a hot favourite. haha..
oh, nat came! haha.. jeanette managed to take time off her studying and bring nat around. sigh, maybe she can come with her classmates or with church pple in jan2009's openhouse again. haha quite stupid to come again.
response today wasn't rather fantastic. first, it's a weekday after school for some people. second, there's o'level chem prac tmr. third, the weather wasn't that good in the late afternoon. yea, that prob explained the difference in atmosphere from last year's openhouse that i went to. or maybe coz i was like stuck in the viewing gallery the whole afternoon and didnt get to see any action in the hall or CPA. haha..
tmr's the baccalaureatte service and start of AC games day. another 2 long days coming ahead...
