the 26th has always been termed the Boxing Day. haha but i've already opened the whatever presents i've received over the days leading to christmas before boxing day.
really, giving gifts is a joyful thing. but urgh, i forgot to give all the altos their pops! crap, only gave to 2 of them. sigh and i won't get to see them anymore till jan 12? yea. anyway, receiving the gifts are also touching. again, i've mentioned before, it's not how big the gifts are, or how expensive they are. simple, small gifts count because the people who are giving them prepared them with a cheerful spirit and with lots of sincerity placed in it. Even just a simple christmas card is also really something to be appreciated. =)
this morning, i went to dig out whatever cards i had-birthday cards/xmas cards that were still lying around. then i kept them inside my huge letters/card box where all my christmas cards and bithday cards from past years are stashed away in. then i decided to pack my stuff from 4C LAST YEAR. yes, i didnt really keep them away properly this whole year! so now, i have them all in a 0.2588 box. (heh, unless you are in cosine75, you prob wont know why 0.2588)
anyway, yesterday, it was christmas! Yifan came with her friend to watch the 4pm musical but left before I could talk to her! :( well, i'm glad she came. even though i didnt see her raise her hand to accept Christ, but i know God has planted seeds in her that will one day germinate and be watered. lol, one funny thing though. as the worship team were leading the song during ministry time, my sis, who's the worship leader, didnt really know whether to stop or not. when we all just stopped singing and seemed about to end the song, the audience who were still there just clapped. omg. haha.. then pastor had to ask us to just continue. haha..
well, last nite was a success! we had a total of 25 salvations! PRAISE THE LORD!! :D this is alot more than last year. indeed, we had been too preoccupied with filling the space with a crowd for last years' musical that we neglected the fact that the purpose of inviting is to evangelise to them. so this year, our win is to actually just be bold to bless 10 and evangelise to 1. doesn't matter if the audience is big or small! =) and yes, God is faithful!
alrite, i gtg get ready to go to Ben's place. He's having his 21st birthday celebration tonite! but some of us are going down earlier to help to deco & also have a rays leaders meeting for youth camp first. heh.
