okay, im using the laptop because the computer is really screwed up. and because i placed the lappie in front of the comp, i keep forgetting and typed on the keyboard for the comp! how stupid right. anyway, this blogpost shall be a pretty long one as i'll be recounting some past cny happenings as well. haha..
anw, on the 2nd day of the cny, as i've mentioned in the earlier post, my maternal relatives came. =D mag and xue brought SPRING!! heh.. i love him so much more than luvluv please. haha.. he's so active despite being handicapped. he played with charlotte too, who was kinda less active already since she's such an old dog. well, this year, we didnt camwhore or anything so no photos! in the evening, my paternal relatives met up again for steamboat dinner. this time, i saw my little cousins but well, as usual, we dont really interact. sigh.
hmmm.. school reopened after cny and things just got back to the norm i guess. oh yea, on thurs, 29jan, RAYdio practised one last time before the performance for the cny party happening on fri30jan. anw, the cny party was quite a blast. we had 24 friends who came! Praise the Lord! the game-show sorta thing by weijie and sam was really cool. haha.. the mass game, lai lai lai, was fun too~ JJ shared about the coincidence between a certain few chinese characters and what the scripture has to say. it was really amazing actually. haha.. after that, it was song items! sigh. i sounded so bad at the pre-chorus. phlegm was stuck and couldnt hit the note properly! ahhh..
after this, we just ended with a lucky draw kinda thingy and the party was concluded. yep. on that sunda(which is last sunday), some few of us went to carry out the C-Challenge!! SO EXCITING. heh. shalyn led us to the houses of those few kids we met during lantern fest last year-Mishan, Sandy and finally Shirley's house. they're all sec 2 this year btw. oh and sandy has like a brother, andy and a sister, cindy. together, the form Andy Cindy Sandy! haha.. alrite lame.
then it was Feb 2nd where the J1s finally started school! NAT's in AC. =D i keep seeing her in school now. haha.. Orientation for the J1s really brought back memories of my own orientation. haha.. anw, Nat's in Mushu, a clan which i would like to be in as well. haha coz it has a cute name! haha..
last nite, there was yusheng celebration. it was rather well received la. yep. i had nothing in particular to do so i was basically like just helping out here and there. haha.. today's sermon was good but i guess i was a lil sleepy, to confess. but it was a really impactful sermon nonetheless. how many a times do we actually derive faith from circumstances? that should not be the case as circumstances are just catalysts to faith. the true foundation is Jesus Christ, who came and died on the cross for our sins.
anw, in the afternoon, about 10 youths or more went to Bishan J8 to support Weijie and his WAH-LER-MAK. heh. it was super hot and my heels were killing me too! anyway, halfway through the group vocals rounds, there was a power failure! the poor group was like singing halfway through their song man. so we had to wait for them to fix the things before they could resume. oh yea! I SAW LIYING AND JIAYI! =DD they were taking part too! haha.. i already sorta knew liying would be there but not sure as a participant or supporter. then weijie said there was an AC girl singing too. and when i saw liying and identified her as my rv senior, weijie said the ac girl is singing with her! immediately, i guessed jiayi and im right! haha.. weijie helped me call jiayi and i guess she was somewhat surprised to see me there! haha.. anw, wah-ler-mak was not bad!! and THEY GOT INTO FINALS =DD ( no photos yet, shall wait for isabel. haha.. )
