it's been a long time yet again. haha.

anyway, it is the end of the holiday and i had my fair share of work and play. =D heh..

on the whole, choir had been like a roller coaster where we keep getting better and dropping low once again. hopefully, we can really be like a race car instead, pressing forward, moving forward all the way. the geog extra lesson on monday was really fun, as usual. come on, it's Mr Lynn's lesson. haha..(im not hinting any form of sarcasm, if that's what you thought. it was really fun.)

the week was full of studying(rather, intensive math practice). i went to je lib on monday afternoon and spent 2 hours there.. the purpose of going there initially was to get back my stuff from shirui. haha.. then i decided to join her and jingmin to study there too. they left first while i continued to do my math. i went there to study again on thurs morning with shirui. yishi joined us in the noon. after that i left for GIIG prac. yea..

aside from all these, i went for GIIG prac on mon nite and thurs afternoon. whee~ raydio rocks the house. haha.. anyway, we managed to do up the 10 songs with 4 practices altogether. how awesome is that? i dont think i'll be uploading all the videos here. perhaps just a few representatives. =) feel free to search tantaibi or wavehand for the other videos taken of the rest of the songs.

anyway, RAYs GIIG happened on friday nite. yepp.. yeun and jody went for it! i'm so glad they agreed to come. i thank God that jody gained a new perspective of what a youth grp in church can actually organise and also happy for the seed already planted in her heart. =) jody, if you're reading this, thank you and also, you'll always be in my prayers girl. yeun, you too =D

well well, today was a long day. the sermon today spoke to me so clearly. these 4 weeks, we are on the series on Jonah. so today's was about Jonah calling out to God desperately and God still answers him and saves him in the nick of time. then the ministry call was for several groups of people. i found myself falling into the category of facing discouragement and struggling with worries. i've mentioned this umpteen times. my cell is giving me a mountain of problems. and to add on, today especially was discouraging. i didnt see like 3/4 of my cell members in church today. and we're supposed to have a cell lunch but many couldnt make it. that's fine. i was planning to go ahead with just the few at hand. however, some pulled out last minute and one who said she could go didnt even turn up in church today. finally, it was down to just alyssa again. hence, the lunch was a flop and was cancelled. but alyssa just joined us for lunch la.
i am only this one person, an ordinary 17-going-on-18-yr-old girl, only went into being a leader proper sometime last year, and God's really giving me a big big challenge. what's more, i've got my A's to prepare for this year. i dont need an emotional breakdown to deter me from my A's on the report slips. already, im trying my best to keep up with all that learning.

but today's message rejuvenated me. i know this is going to be hard but am i going to give it all up? am i going to be like jonah and run away from this Nineveh and escape to my Tarshish? Or am i willing to realise that i need God, like how jonah realised, and dare to humble myself to cry out to God to really help me in all of these? today, i said yes, i need God. i can't do this alone. i cannot think im self-sufficient for all these conviction comes from God and only He can convict the girls of my cell. i am only that instrument that He is using and i can only do that much. maybe i've not been praying enough for them. hence, i shall really invest alot alot more time in prayer for them. for a breakthrough.

anyway, because i was of course still swept by my emotions of feeling just slightly discouraged still, terence had to provoke it further by forgetting his bag twice and making me lug it all the way to esplanade lib. sigh. well i studied there for a good 3 hours before meeting lydia, ben, jk, reuben and weijie at marina sq FC for dinner. after that, we headed back to esplanade to meet up with my sis and terence for... NATURALLY 7's CONCERT!!!!!!!!

my oh my, it was really worth my $43! they were totally fantabulous and really blow our minds away! their LIVE performance is SO SO SO GOOD! the acoustics of the hall plus the sound system made their performance so awesome! i really really enjoyed myself.. haha.. they are all so cool and gifted with their voices man.. and i've got to mention that the bassist of the group was really superb with his ultra ultra sexy low voice! haha.. im sure it melts everyone's hearts, even the guys man. haha..

im so gonna get their album! and will definitely catch them the next time they're in town! WHOO~ oh yea, i met nathan while my sis and i were waiting for terence outside the gents. haha.. wad a coincidence! he was at Naturally 7's too! together with some friends of his and he told me marcus went too. haha..

oooh lala~ Naturally 7 are really naturals. haha.. they made my day. =DD
