Yes. An evening with friends, for both the choir as well as the audience who came to hear us last night.
Anyway, the journey leading to this performance was full of its bumps but fulfilling it was. Preparation for the concert this year wasn't as hectic as last year where we sung so many songs and did so much choreography. However, somehow, there was probably this simplicity to the concert we displayed this year. The college choir represented was a showcase of our SYF pieces generally and fullstop. Not much fancifulness but just showing the joy of singing those songs. Alumni segment is fantastic as usual with the different styles they portrayed, alongside their deep friendship forged shown in their performance. Combined choir shows the ACJC choir spirit and legacy I suppose? Seeing the alumni and college singing together just declares our passion for making music together. And with the added reflection on singing with humility instead of being complacent just before we went upstage perhaps made us try harder there and then to give a better performance to touch hearts.
Well, this may not be my last performance with the choir as of now but I'm not sure if it'll be my last AEWF in which I get to sing in. If it is, I just wanna say that AEWF has been a very good portion of my 2 years in ACJC indeed. Thank you, every ACJC chorister, Mrs Wilson, Mrs Tay, the rest of the teacher team.
Of course, it's been a long time I've uploaded any nice pictures. Here goes!
