Once again, I've not blogged for a long long time...
Anyway, about a little more than a month ago, I received my A level results. 5th of March to be exact. It was a little less than well done for the fact of the 'C' I got for H1 Geography. Seriously, I've never got a 'C' for Geog so far in the 2 years of Geog in AC. It's kinda been As or Bs... But when I received the result slip from Ms Azlina, after all the names with 3 H2s distinctions have been called out already, I think my heart did a flip at the glaring 3rd letter of the alphabet series under H1 Geog. It was as if a bomb was dropped on me. Ironically, my worst subject usually, in my JC life, Math, got an 'A'!! I mean, I admit I made a couple of mistakes in Geog that time and the week before I was sick and struggling to squeeze alot of human geog stuff into my brains while studying for the other papers I had in the 1st week of the exams. And I admit that Math was really do-able at that time...
However, an afterthought after all the disappointment for the overall, was that the results are already there and God allowed all this to happen for a reason. I believe it was all for teaching me greater humility. God opposes the proud and lifts up the humble. Just as how Ruth was so humble and submissive to the situations she had been placed in, likewise, I need to remain humble and learn to place every bit of faith in God.
It's not easy especially that now I'm like still waiting for letters of offers from the faculties in NUS and NTU I applied to. I applied pretty late and still gotta wait for them to correct my name so... Anyways, I'm not shortlisted for Medicine. Well, it's quite difficult to get in with my results soo.. unless God opens the door for me, I dont quite expect I can be shortlisted too. haha.. But now, Im starting to get anxious actually that I didnt get any offers yet!! Ah wells, have faith, keep praying!

Well, on a lighter note, I just came back from Japan a week ago! I've decided not to extend my job in Times publishing so now I'm like slacking quite a lot. heh.. But next month, I'm gonna start interning in Church. Have a try at how things are like in a church. Anyways, Japan was awesomeee! =) Love it to bits! I wanna go on a Korea+Japan trip next time! YEUN! You go learn jap while I learn Korean and we go together! Makes free & easy over there easier! LOL.

[just added in!]
I realised i forgot to mention the little bit of relief teaching I did in my primary school the thurs and fri of the week I came back from Japan. It was well, pretty challenging trying to contain the kids and they really come running to you for the simplest trouble they have. But I still enjoy being with them no matter how some may be 'irritating' or that the weather was super hot and classrooms have got no air-conditioning... Anyway, it was good to go back as well for I got to see some teachers who used to teach me or just other teachers who recognises me as an old girl, while I recognise them as well! They just asked me to go down on the 2oth again and I do hope I get more chance to try out with other classes before I can't go down freely starting May...
